What is FTDOXP?
FTDOXP is a site that collects minutiae from the series, The X-Files, such as license plate numbers, phone numbers, etc. Just check out one of our episode pages to find out just how trivial the details are!
What is the point of this new edition? What's new?
I wanted to organize the details in a more consistent and legible manner, as well as tackle the entire series (the original site only covered up to season six). This version will also attempt to tackle more details, such as type of car driven, actual filming locations, etc.
Also, since all the episodes are now released on DVD, I can get a better look at the details than when I had to rely on VHS-taped episodes.
Why the renewed interest?
I've always loved X-Files, but had moved on to other shows. However, I met my husband, and he had never really seen the show, but really wanted to, so we watched every single X-Files episode and movie. Watching the show again got me itching to "detail" again!
How come there are so few episodes "detailed"?
I started the original site my sophomore year in college (1997), when I had a lot more time. Unfortunately, I work full time (and then some) now and I will only update this site when I have the time. In addition, each episode takes a painstaking amount of time, because there aren't just details to spot, there's research to be done!
As you can tell, I have minimized the use of decorative graphics on this site, since that would detract from the time I have to collect details. If you want more details to hold you over, visit the old site. It's somewhat haphazardly organized and designed, since I "redid" the site several times without ever changing old pages, but the info is still there.

Sure! Every episode page has a comment section on the bottom of the page so that you can add additional details or help me identify certain places or objects.
